Prepare 250 g of dark chocolate.

Kinder Chocolate Cake step by step
Steps 1-7 are for the Chocolate Layer Cake. Step 8 is buttercream and Step 9-10 is assembling.
Preheat the oven to 190•C. Melt the dark chocolate. Stir while melting. Cream butter and sugar until smooth.
Separate eggs and beat the yolks. Gradually add the egg yolks into the butter sugar mix and beat well..
Add the melted dark chocolate into the mix and combine..
In a separate bowl, add the baking soda, powder, flour and salt. In a jug add the milk and vanilla essence. Add half of the dry ingredients into the batter and mix, followed by half of the wet batter. Incorporate nicely and repeat x2..
Using the egg whites, whisk to get soft peaks and carefully incorporate into mixture, folding it in. Be careful so you don’t lose the air.
Divide the mixture into your tins (I used an 8” and 9” tin) and put into the oven for 40 mins or until skewer is clean when poked through..
