Ingredients of Chole Rice

1. Prepare 2 cups of Chana.
2. You need 1 cup of Onions.
3. You need 1 of Cardamom.
4. Prepare 1 of Cloves.
5. It's 2-3 of Garlic pods.
6. Prepare 1 cup of Tomato puree.
7. It's 2 tbsp of Ginger garlic paste.
8. It's 2 tbsp of Green chillies.
9. Prepare 1 tbsp of Cumin seeds.
10. It's 1 tbsp of Cumin powder.
11. Prepare 1/2 tbsp of Turmeric.
12. You need 1 tbsp of Besan.
13. You need as per taste of Salt.
14. Prepare 1 tbsp of Garam masala.

Chole Rice step by step

1. Firstly soak the chana overnight..
2. Take a cooker and put the soaked chana to it..
3. Add 2 cups of water, ajwain seeds and salt to it. You can also add green tea bag to it to give it a nice colour..
4. Add bay leaf, cardamom, clove,2-3 garlic pcs, few onions slices to it. Mix it all well and give it 4-5 whistles..
5. Now the chana is boiled..
6. Take a pan and heat oil to it..
7. Add cumin seeds and let it crackle..
8. Once it crackles add the left onions chopped and fry it for some time until the colour changes to brown..
9. Add ginger garlic and green chillies paste to it and give it a quick stir..
10. Now add tomato puree and all the spices to it..
11. Cook it for 4-5minutes.Add chole and chole masala to it..
12. Now mix it all together and cook it for 10-12 minutes..
13. Chole is ready..
14. Garnish it with coriander leaves..
