1. You need 2 of Potatoes large ones.
2. You need 2 tbsp of Oil.
3. It's 2 tbsp of Garlic mince.
4. You need 2 tbsp of Kashmiri Red chilli powder.
5. Prepare 1 tbsp of Lemon juice.
6. You need 1 tsp of Salt.
7. It's 1 cup of Spring onions to garnish.
8. Prepare 1/8 tsp of Asafoetida.
9. It's 1 tsp of Chaat Masala.

1. First of all, peel and wash the Potatoes well. Using a Potato chipper or cut into thin fingers with a sharp knife. I have done it manually with a knife. Deep fry them until crisp and done on a medium high heat in enough oil..
2. In a pan, heat oil and add Asafoetida. Then add the Garlic mince. Saute it for a minute. Now add the Red chilli powder and the fried potato fingers. Add salt and mix it up well. Cover and simmer on low heat for 6 to 8 minutes. Squeeze some Lemon juice and sprinkle Chaat Masala..
3. Garnish with chopped Spring Onions before serving..
4. Serve hot as an appetizer or an evening snack at tea-time. This is my own innovative recipe and if desired you can use frozen Potato fingers but the cooking time will increase accordingly.
